HEY MANDY.. ARE YOU TAKING METFORMIN FOR YOUR DIABETES? IF YOU ARE WHAT DOSE DO YOU TAKE. I TAKE A 500MG PILL TWICE A DAY AND IT TENDS TO MAKE ME HAVE EXCUSE ME LOOSE BOWELS.. BUT IT SEEMS TO BE GETTING BETTER BUT I DONT KNOW IF THAT A REG DOSE OR NOT . IT IS BRINGING MY BLOOD COUNTS DOWN BUT NOT GOOD ENOUGH.
HOW ARE YOU DOING ON IT.

Yes I am taking Metformin hun. Both me and Terry take it and we're both taking 1000mgs twice a day....we take two of the 500mgs tablets twice a day. It can upset your tummy like that when you first go on it....it did mine for a couple of weeks, but mine soon settled down and now I don't seem to have any problems at all. It's great that it's bringing your blood counts down and maybe your doctor may feel that it's worth putting your dose up in a little while.

THANKS FOR LETTING ME KNOW MANDY...THINK ONCE I GET USED TO IT WILL ASK NEXT APPOINT TO UP THE DOSE AS IT DOESNT HELP ENOUGH YET AND I KNOW I STILL NEED TO GET MY PORTION CONTROL ON DINNER WAY DOWN TOO. SINCE I CANT USE EXERCISE TO HELP CONTROL MY NUMBERS THIS TIME AT ALL...BUMMER
