Hi Ladies...
Not much new with us. Grumpy is still having severe headaches. Had to laugh the other night..he had an ice pack on his head and it wasn't sitting "round" but he had it more longwise, like a hotdog across the top of his head...I told him he looked like Mr. T.
It is so hot here...one can hardly breath. Grumpy said we could go to the casino tomorrow, but I have tried to talk him out of it, with his head hurting and the heat. Hate to think we would get broke down or come up on an accident..lol, hopefully , not ours........but it would be fun. Haven't been in sometime. Don't feel lucky though, but never do.
Sorry you are hurting so badly Eileen....don't worry about the silly game. Mandy and Cins are doing well with keeping it going. You just take care of yourself and get back here to play and to post. Sorry about Kyle...he really is a bugger. So sad, he had such great parents and to act like this........really sad.

Boy did we have bad weather today. It was from that
tropical depression. The weather alarms were going off
and people were seeing funnel clouds all over the place.
This one water spout came out of the water and then they
are tornado's it picked up this little boy about 4 ft off the
ground and he couldn't get away. He said he was screaming
and trying to hold on to something and finally it dropped him.
It did some minor damage in the area but thank God he was
OK. This was near Daytona I think. Anyhow we were under
a tornado watch and then the wind picked up and it starting
raining and it poured and poured. Not complaining about the
rain though cause we need it but it was an intense day.. LOL!!

Oh my step sister finally came home today. I guess the test
they did was negative. Mama said she had no idea even what
the test was. The medicine that they gave her was the exact
medicine but it belonged to somebody else. So I guess they
were afraid she could have caught something by using it.
It is one of those inhaler things. Anyhow she is home and very
happy.

Eileen if Aunt Ann called you I hope yall had a nice talk. So sorry
you're still in so much pain hon. I need to call her tomorrow.
Sorry Kyle will have no time for you. He is really some piece of
work and I'm so sorry that he has hurt you so much this past
year. Yes sounds like you need a new phone. So hopefully with
any luck Rachael will be going home tomorrow on BB. I can't
stand to hear her whining any longer. It was great seeing Jeff
and Jordan.

Candy yep that's a lot of miles yall drove. I can't imagine it.
You know I always heard New Orleans was dirty but never
really believed it since it is such a tourist attraction. That's
awful. I know I would have enjoyed the aquarium the most
too. I love stuff like that I guess that why we love Sea World
so much.

Cinders glad Marie is over and that's cool the hair dresser comes
to the house. I know it will look nice. You don't need any
botox hon. I think once you start it you can't stop. I would
never do anything like that to my face. You have to take me
as I am!!! LOL!!! I think you have a pretty face now. Are
yall doing anything special for your BD?

Sel sorry Grumpy's head is still hurting and I think that is sweet
he wants to take you to the casino. Well if yall go I hope
you have a great time. They were just saying on our news that
some man won the lottery for the 3rd time in a couple years.
Not millions but a nice amount each time. WOW!! I guess you
have to play to win but it just seems like such a long shot.

Tony just getting us tomatoes on toast for lunch, hes grown a lot this year and im eating them as soon as soon as they are ready,

[i][center]Good Morning, Ladies...had thunder showers this morning and what a banger it turned out to be...Rob was snoring up a storm last night and had to keep telling him to roll over...ROFL...he was exhausted and think that is what makes him snore so bad...when he isnt that tired, he doesnt snore like that...he missed his nappers yesterday waiting to get the truck back...that bill was $330...that hurt, but sure needed to be done...think its running a lot better now...better be...lol...we do have 106,271 miles on it now...lol...

Had a wacky night at work last night...had the Chief as one of my officers and that was really strange...seems that all of the crazies were out last night...we had the strangest calls and thought the night was never going to end...sheesh...lol...

Eileen...yes we are also glad that we got Kelsey's stuff out of the house...she is a child and should be treated as one...she should not be made to take full responsibility of her 3 year old sister at the age of 11...she has been doing it for over 2 years now...sheesh...yes, our sons need a good thumping for getting into the garbage that they have gotten into...I'm sure Rob's eyes will be ok...age is catching up with him...seems when he is out of focus, he gets dizzy and that is what he is having a problem with...Kyle will learn the hard way if he doesnt make time for work...bet he has made time for his friends though...guess he is hoping that you will take up the slack...guess he is in for a shock then, isnt he???...ROFL...

Selma...sure hope Grumpy finds out what is causing the headaches and can get rid of them...they are no fun at all...maybe some casino fun would do him some good...years ago had a miserable time staying at step-daughters and had to go to the casino for peace and quiet...THE CASINO!!!...LOL...was quieter at the casino than at the house...does that tell you how bad that visit was???...LOL...

Carol...glad that the 4 year old wasnt hurt...sounds like he had angels watching after him...glad that your step-sister is finally home...yes New Orleans is a filthy city...there are loads of derelicts there also...they sleep in the park...problem is that loads of the police are also corupt and that doesnt help for a good atmosphere either...stick with sea world and you will do fine...didnt leave anything at New Orleans and sure wont be going back there at all...we will take the Riverwalk in San Antonio anyday...that is what we will do with Kelsey next year, I believe...

Cinders...love home grown tomatoes and glad you are enjoying them...Rob and I both love them...seems its been way too hot for them here the last couple years...they wont bloom and make more tomatoes when the temp gets too high...hope that I also get the paperwork done as I need to get the rest of my money back...will call insurance in a minute to see what I have to do to claim it...grrrrrrrrrr...

Sorry to be MIA the last couple days, haven't been
feeling quite right, and a little incoherent. Blood sugar
was really outta whack, and now taking more of the
metformin, doctor's orders. Also on Crestor now for
cholesterol, and still not feeling myself yet. Will be
in soon as I can comprehend things, and my fingers
don't keep spazzing out on me. Hope everyone is

lawyer and start discussing getting the medical
bills taken care of, or sue the living day lights
out of them. If you want to buy Avon, you can
go ahead and just go to Avon.com and order
that way I think. I can still send you the daily
specials, but you would need to get online
in the mornings for it. I would need to have
orders every campaign, and more than 50.00
in orders, as it's 7.50 per campaign for the
website they charge me, and on an order
of 14.99 I am only making 2.99, so it's expensive
for me with orders under 50.00 per campaign.
It really sucks for me, and for my friends too,
as not everyone wants or needs to buy every
two weeks, that's just ridiculous I think, on
their part. Glad your step sister finally made
it home. Sorry to hear about your weather,
sounds as though it was really scary.

Cins, so sorry about that delivery guy, do hope
that you won't tip him for that. There is a serum
out, and it's a lot cheaper than botox, and it
does help tighten and firm up the skin, and no
injections are needed. Check with your major
shopping store that sells make up and skin care
products, some place like our Macy's. Tony sounds
like a good gardener growing tomatoes. Glad you
get to enjoy them.

Candy, that's a lot of miles to be sure, and it
takes me about 7 months to put that many
miles on my car, I really don't drive anywhere
unless necessary. Glad that Kelsey is out of
that house now, and do hope that the evil
witch will completely destroy her marriage,
as Kelsey still needs her dad. Sorry that
New Orleans was such a disappointment,
I guess I won't be going to see such a
site with it being in such a condition.
Wish I would have went when I was there
when I was 15. it would have been nice.

IT JUST IS SUCH A PAIN TO STRUGGLE TO GET ON THE COMPUTER..THEN CANT GET IN..SIGNING IN OVER AND OVER GRRR

I HAVE A CHIROPRATOR APPOINTMENT TOMMORROW MORNING AND I AM NOT GOING SHOPPING AFTER..GOING HOME LEARNED MY LESSON THE HARD WAY.

KYLE BROUGHT THE AIR CONDITIONER FROM UPSTIAIRS TO THE APARTMENT WITHOUT ASKING ME..I PAID FOR IT. BUT NOW HE CANT GET IT IN THE WINDOW 4 FLIGHTS UP AND BEING ON THE 4TH FLOOR WITH NO ATTAC AND A flat ROOF IT EXTREMELY HOT IN THE PLACE. TOLD HIM TO ASK THE LANDLORD TO SEE IF HE WOULD PUT IT IN BUT I KNOW HE NEVER LISTENS TO ME SO LET HIM SWEAT.
HE ALSO TELLS ME THEY ARE ALL SLOBS INCLUDING THE GIRL SO THATS DISAPPOINTNG...I GUESS THEY WILL ALL HAVE TO CLIMB OVER A MOUNTAIN OF TOWELS TO TAKE A SHOWER. Hi Ladies.....
Thanks for the pity EIleen...lol, my goodness how my little world revolves around this silly machine. Thanks goodness it wasn't either machine..because my laptop was affected too. It was the cable modem.....this happens more frequently than I would like...we have learned to unplug it and let it rest for a few seconds then plug it back it..well , this time it didn't work.
I had to call the Charter tech line and got a recorded voice...who insisted she could help me...if any of you have seen the movie..BURN AFTER READING.....it isn't the greatest movie..however, there are several parts that just make me laugh so hard..and I LOVE Brad Pitt in it...he is as cute as a bug ..and mostly he makes me laugh.....anyways..........the lady in the movie calls her insurance company to see if she can get some "beauty" surgeries okayed..you know, butt, face, etc. Well, she has a recorded person talking to her and they tell her if need be anytime say ...AGENT...and she will be connected to a real person.......I , also heard this message on my phone call..........well, like the lady in the movie...she says..AGENT....I say ...AGENT....she says....AGENT, AGENT, AGENT, AGENT....lol...and yeppers..I was nearly screaming...AGENT, AGENT, AGENT...and finally, the voice agreed to connect me........to someone in the Phillippines..........that means an accent.........I am hard of hearing and accents are very difficult for me.......so I had to track Grumpy down to listen in and when she said something I couldn't understand..he interrpretted for me...............oh, my.......but the lovely lady did help me...we had to unplug the router too...but like Mary Poppins says...spit-spot.......the machine was back on the internet.

I then had to laugh at my situation being like in the movie. Now, I will probably laugh enough more when I see that part.

Waiting for Susie...we are going to 54th Street for lunch and then going to see the movie...THE OTHER GUY...or something like that..with Mark Wahlberg ...and that clown guy..Will Ferrel...don't like him at all..but Mark will make up for him. Like Mark alot...hahahaha.

Did make it to the casino yesterday...they gave us a coupon and we were able to eat there free...that in itself is winning. It was a nice day but so blasted hot...100 degrees here actual.......have no idea what the heat index was, but I know this...I would be medium rare in about an hour if I were placed out there.

Well...hope you all are doing as well as can be expected. Eileen...praying so hard for your pain to ease so you can be more comfortable.

A pretty hot and humid day here. We went out
for early voting and when we left the library it
was pouring down raining. It was so funny cause
we got drenched and couldn't see a thing and of
course not one of us had a damn umbrella.. LOL!!
Anyhow glad we got the voting done and didn't have
to wait in a long line.

Betty is doing pretty good since she got home. She just
needs to get stronger. Now yall all know you have to have
money to sue somebody. She is on disability so that's not
going to happen. She's just glad to finally be home.

Well today is the 6th anniversary of when hurricane Charley
hit FL. Gosh what a time that was but it's hard to believe
it's been that long ago. Seems like yesterday.

Eileen it was great talking to you hon. So sorry about
the power going out and you having to go down into the
basement twice to get the breaker right. I bet those steep
steps really put a hurting on you. I so hope the Dr can make
you feel better tomorrow. Also hope you can get in touch
with Sherri and hope she is OK. Sorry you are having so
many problems in the group. I have no idea how to even
find out what is going on. I can't believe I would ever say
this but I really miss MSN so much. We bitched about it
every day but what I wouldn't give to have it back....

Candy hope Rob's eye appt went well. Yes the city walk sounds
like a nice place to visit. We are hoping to make it to
Universal's Islands of Adventure to see all the Harry Potter
stuff but not until it gets cooler and kids are in school.

Sel I am cracking up as I am reading your post because when
out internet went down not too long ago. I could hear Rick
on the phone upstairs hollering AGENT AGENT AGENT!!!!!!
OMG!! And then it would go back to the main menu. Took him
3 calls and lots of waiting before he got a person on the phone.
We did need a new modem at that time. I know you were frustrated
but at least it's all fixed now. Glad yall got to the casino and that's
great you got a free lunch. That movie looks funny but most
movies that Will Ferrell plays in are just plan stupid but I hope
you enjoyed it.

Cinders hon hope you had a great Birthday. What did yall do
special if anything? Is Marie still there? Sorry you computer
is still acting up.

Dee I think I will just not do the Avon anymore. Seems like too
much of a PITA for you and me but I do hope you can make

Good Morning!
Not feeling too well, think the crestor is having an
effect bowel wise, and the dizziness is not going
away. At least the disorientation is going away.
Will try to come in later, have to run out the door
now, and do some errands. Eileen said she can
not post for a bit, the forum is giving her too
much trouble. Will try to find out how to fix
that this weekend, do hope I succeed. If not,
then we still have the yahoo group, and there
is the aimoo group as well. The aimoo group has

Not much to report.....so dragged out and tired today.

Carol.........you are right about Will Ferrell......let's see....

..the movie started out pretty good........Samuel L. Jackson , and The Rock are in it too. They play smart, over gutsy with it type of cops. Then you have Mark Wahlberg and Will...who plaly the goof-ups. Like I said, it started out pretty good...........but sort of went downhill.........the main problem with the movie wasn't Will so much....and I don't like him at all...he didn't overact like he usually does.........but the movie contained too, too, too much dialog........endless and uninteresting dialog..........no thumbs up....more of a thumbs down on this one...there were parts where the dialog was so stupid ..anyway.......it does have it's funny moments......but, save your money and watch it when it comes on tv. It is a movie that if you see it once......that's more than enough.

Okay..........guess I will go and try and do something, even if it's wrong.

[i][center]Good Evening, Everyone...OMG...what a day at work...we have what we call Good Ole Days going on where people do booths to sell wares and a carnival...they always have a parade and then Everyone goes to the park afterwards...there is loads of beer sold and we end up with drunks and carnies all weekend...always glad when its over...I had 5 radios all going at the same time for quite a while today...what a mess...sure am glad that its all over tomorrow morning...dont think my nervies could handle another day...why couldnt we be gone now???...ROFL...

Have been going thru the boxes of my lighted houses and I cant find the coal for my coal shoot building...I had bought naughty stockings one year and used the coal from them for my coal shoot and train...seems my sister re-arranged things after Mom got everything up there, and bet she chose to throw all of that out...guess I will have to go to Wal-Mart this year before Christmas and get some...she probably considered it junk...lol...figures...

Have been trying to get everything sorted and get my house straightened up again...sure is hard when I have all of these boxes sitting in the middle of the floor...lol...now I really have a mess as I am sorting and have a pile of stuff along with the boxes in the middle of the floor...but do I hate this job...ROFL...

Even had to get some things out of the attic I had already saved to go with everything I was bringing back...I seem to be driving Rob crazy with it all...and boy is that attic HOT!!!...LOL...

Carol...pouring rain with no umbrella is our stunt, so dont feel alone there...ROFL...happens here all the time...I even hove 2 of the big golf umbrellas and as big as they are...I'll be damned if I even know where they are...LOL...dont brag too long and hard about Charley...afterall we arent thru this season yet...has been 2 years since Ike and we are still recovering here...what a mess...jsut got my copies to main in to get my depreciation for the garage...Rob's eye apt went well and we are supposed to get his glasses in a week...since he needed the anti glare ones costing more, they had to send them off...after $255.00 for 2 pairs, he had better see a whole lot better...the cataract is getting a little worse, but looks like it will be a long time before we have to worry about surgery for him...get that sugar in line, Missy...lol...

Cinders...glad that you had such a wonderful birthday...sounds like Everyone spoiled you, and so glad that they did...yes, know who Tom Jones is...grew up listening to his music...lol...naughty, eh...ROFLMAO...stay away from that gremlin and his family, as they are nasty rats...lol...yes, I too would read to my son and now read to my grandaughters...they love it...always buy them tons of books...can never have too many books...

Have been trying to get a response from the forum team, and no one seems to be doing anything. Have checked the forum help boards, and no one there is able to help with anything either. Talked with Eileen today, and we may be going to Yuku, not sure yet, just waiting now. It seems everyone is able to post easier there, I know that I do belong to one yuku group, and I am always
able to post, if I can get signed in, memory thing you know, lol.

[i][center]Good Evening, Everyone...OMG is it ever hot and humid out there...I also think all of the heat have fried Everyone's brains...we were dealing with real stupid people today...even had one guy that was golfing golf balls into the water at the beach...hey fella...1...there are people sitting on the beach you could hit and possibly kill and 2...when you shoot them into the water, where the hell are they going, as the water wont give a golf ball back...sheesh...stupid people for sure...

I talked to my Mom today and told her that the coal is missing from the village things...she also said that she came across more figurines that she had stashed some other place in the kitchen attic that she missed...didnt look in there for anything, as she told me that there wasnt anything left in there...she still hasnt sent out the sunglasses that Rob forgot, so hopefully she wont wait too long to send all fo that down...lol...she takes forever to get anything done unless its for my baby sister...lol...

I have a dental cleaning on Tuesday and sure hate to think about that one...have already moved it twice now and guess I need to stick with it this time...ROFL...besides, I think I took a tiny chip out of my upper right front tooth yesterday eating a nectarine...seems to have a bit of a sharp edge to it and want to see about them maybe taking care of that...grrrrrrrrrrrrrr...always something...fighting bad to keep my teeth and then do something like that...

Cinders...will have to see about getting it all set up and taking pictures of it...need to get the front porch enclosed so that Rob can build me some cabinets on the wall and then glass them in so that they can stay there year round...too much hassel to put them up and take them down...lol...will have to see if I can come across the pics that I had taken and get them scanned in to share with Everyone...was definatey impressive...need to also get off my keester this weekend to get the pics from our trip loaded...never seem to have enough time in the day anymore...not good when Anne-Marie comes to visit and is sick all the time...what a shame...

Eileen...of coarse I miss your long jabber jaw posts as you are as bad as I am...ROFL...glad you will be back to normal and sure hope its soon...so sorry that Kyle is being a putz to you...you havent had that puter long and such a shame that you have come to hate it that bad...what a shame...never had heard of that brand till Best Buy started carrying them...do hope that you can get something new that will suit you...and yes we all have to save for things we want...

Sorry I haven't been around but I've been busy. Today was
Eric's BD so we met some of his friends for dinner last night.
We went to an irish pub. It was really nice and he is always
talking about their shepards pie which I have never had before.
So that's what I ordered. It was so good but so much I ended
up bringing half of it home and eating it for lunch. So today
my baby boy turned 29 and then in two weeks my oldest will
turn 39!!!! Gosh I'm old.. LOL!!! So today I made home made
spagetti for his BD dinner and then we had a tiny little
carrot cake we bought. So I think he had a nice BD. I told him
when he hits the big 30 next year he should go some where
like a trip with friends or something.
So between the spagetti and the shepards pie I don't have to
tell yall my sugar is through the roof even using whole wheat
noodles. Oh well back to salads this week..
Gosh it was so hot yesterday when we got back from errands
I jumped in the shower and after I washed my hair and body
I cut the cold water on and just chilled for a bit. Today I
didn't go out of the house. Tomorrow is suppose to be heat
index in 100's by noon. Oh well I'll be inside.. LOL!!

Candy so glad you got your houses and hope your mom
sends the other parts and Robs sunglasses soon. I can
just imagine the weird calls you get at work. I'm sure some
nights it's never a dull moment but I guess it can be over
whelming too.

Sel sorry you didn't like the movie hon. We rented Couples
Retreat to watch this week sometime and we also watched
Moon. Moon was OK but a very quiet movie because there
wasn't many actors in it. I hope Grumpys head stops
hurting soon and your feeling better too.

Eileen so sorry you can't get in touch with Sherri as I know
you're worried as to why she hasn't called you. Hope you will
hear from her soon. Also sorry you don't like your computer.
I don't know a thing about Windows 7. Hell I still have XP on
desktop. I too hope we can figure out what new place we
can settle into and that damn gremlin won't get in...
I am so damn mad that the golf was so long tonight and messed
up BB and then all the other shows I usually watch up. I am
just now getting to see Next Food Network Stars finale. GRRR!!!
Yes lots of goings on in the BB house. Rick said that Brendon
is back and he did go somewhere so he probably did go to
a hotel. I haven't had a chance to watch the feeds yet.

Dee hope we can find a new home that will be simple to post
and do other things. Gosh I would love to be able to do
backgrounds again if we could figure it out.

Cinders hope you're feeling better today hon. That was nice to
give most of your BD cake away. We just got Eric a tiny one
so we wouldn't be tempted to eating a big one. LOL!!
